Yes. Any public or private school institution in all Canadian provinces and territories, excluding Quebec, can participate in the Happy Hands Contest.
With every new school year comes a new round of colds, flu and stomach bugs. We all know that hand hygiene is the most important way to stop the spread of these germs, but how do we teach this to our students? This contest, and the additional teaching tools we're including, provide you with a fun way to reintroduce proper hand hygiene and help develop life-long hand washing practices.
$1,000 Donation to the school which submitted the winning design.
$300 Gift Card for the student who submitted the winning design.
Up to 500 manual dispensers to display the winning design in the school.
A committee of judges will evaluate the submissions based on visual appeal, overall design, creativity and unique design elements. Finalists will be selected from each category: K-5 and 6-8.
After the finalists have been chosen for each category (Grades K-5 and 6-8), their designs will be posted on this website for public voting from February 8th – 28th. The design in each category with the most votes will be selected as the Grand Prize winner.
